A Faurecia é uma multinacional francesa criada em 1997, de peças para automóveis. Esta empresa trabalha com marcas prestigiadas do setor automóvel como a Volkswagen, Peugeot Citroen, Renault Nissan, Ford, General Motors, BMW, Toyota, entre outros.
Atualmente está presente em mais de 34 países e emprega cerca de 98 mil pessoas. Em Portugal a Faurecia está presente em duas localizações distintas, em Aveiro onde tem uma unidade de fabrico de assentos para automóveis, e outra em Bragança de fabricação de sistemas de escape.
Procuram um Commodity Buyer para a unidade de Aveiro, São João da Madeira.
“The role of a Commodity Buyer is to structure the building of a supplier panel for one commodity and ensure the overall productivity of his or her panel. The main missions of the role are to:
▪ Structure the building of the panel: participate in the definition and the implementation of the purchasing panel policy for assigned commodity, manage supplier selection according to Group criteria;
▪ Manage the global suppliers productivity in relation with the Budget;
▪ Panel management: ensure a regular follow-up of the supplier performance (Quality, Security, Logistics, etc.) and help to developp suppliers if necessary;
▪ Implement a supplier’s reduction plan consistent with Divisions and in coordination with the Business Groups;
▪ Develop and implement tools to improve global productivity;
▪ Negotiate and implement general agreements with the main suppliers;
Work with program Buyers to ensure the utilisation of the panel by program, and give support during negotiation;
▪ Support plants in case of operationnal issues with Suppliers;
▪ Manage supplier financial risk follow-up for the Commodity, and build an action plan when necessary;
▪ Identify future needs and Developp panel opportunities in iberican area in accordance with SCM;
▪ Benchmark current business with new suppliers.
Qualifications :
▪ Master’s degree in engineering with a specialisation in international purchasing;
▪ Minimum 3 years experience as a Commodity Buyer in an industrial environment;
▪ Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills;
▪ Ability to work in a matrixed organisation;
▪ International mind set, overseas experience a plus;
▪ Bi/multi-lingual (English required).”
